P1 does the same, my uncle is (or was) a member.... http://www.p1international.com/membership.php

I have no idea what the exact fleet is for this one. I assume the first 10 members are funding a new Ferrari for someone?

Is that an annual fee of 25,000?
Christ alive, thats a ridiculous amount of money.
If I could afford that I'd probably buy my own super car...a Lotus Evora is only 100k

Interesting comments, did you convert their membership prices to Swiss Francs? Er, it's about the same...

Except, last I heard they were being sued by one of their founders, none other than Damon Hill, and were in liquidation.

There is a market for clubs like this, at these prices. So, I am launching one here in Switzerland. Sorry if it's too expensive for some folks on here, that's what my post was intended to discover.

Will the first 10 members fund a new Ferrari? Not a chance, but then that's the last thing I need, I have 4 kids... :-)

Thanks for the comments though.

Fine by me, but if I could afford 25K, I rather be driving a Ferrari one weekend, a Lamborghini another weekend, an Aston martin another weekend... :-)

Horses for courses. I know which I'd prefer, but if the Lotus Evora is your dream Supercar, go for it :-)

Thanks but I'll buy one. More cost effective anyway.

Good luck though

Of course you would, but you'd be breaking your own rules
Fair Use Policy

Members are expected to use their Dream Fuel in a balanced
way - spreading their use of vehicles evenly across the different
categories of vehicle, at different times of year, and between
weekdays and weekends. In this way, all members should be able
to benefit from high availability of vehicles across the year.

Good luck, all the same

http://www.carsuk.net/p1-supercar-cl...dministration/

We are currently seeking members, we have some people interested, not enough to pass the threshold for the next step. Until then we don't commit the fleet, although some cars are "optioned", and we don't take anybody's money until that threshold is passed.

Or, do you you want the business plan? Sorry, no can do.

Did your uncle have a bad experience with P1? For sure, I am interested to hear his views. Obviously, he thought it was good enough to join....

Cheers,
WW

Just out of interest what different 'categories' of vehicle do you plan to have? More specifically which vehicles will be in the lower categories ...

Sorry, but when I "Possibly" get my dream car later this year, I am sure I will prefer to have it 24/7 than a car here and there. I've done the track days in supercars and enjoyed it but that ends on the day. There is only one car I am after at present and I for one will not get bored by it.
I can do more track days or hire supercars but for me it's nothing like owning one if you can.

Only my opinion of course.

there is no evidence that your company, if it exists, has any cars.

I don't care about P1, my uncle was a member long ago but I think my aunt got him a car for his birthday and this meant he no longer needed to be a member.

Your site lacks details. I could happily join 10x over....but until proven otherwise, there is no fleet.

Re: Stop Dreaming, Start Driving!

See for me it all depends on the terms of the deal which we don't know. For me I know I would prefer *not* to own just one or two cars but have access to a good selection of supercars. A good example is that often times they have for example a range rover vogue. Now I would never want to own one of these, but would like one here and there to get to the mountains. Also a reserved DB9 would be nice to take into town or on longer trips, while a lambourghini gallardo spider is great to take to a lake or the sea during the summer time. I would never use a car every day, wouldn't want to service a Ferrari, and I'd get bored of using just one car in just one colour all the time.

This type of thing is something I'd definitely be interested in but it all depends on the choice and value which hasn't been disclosed yet.

I think WW is trying to say they don't have the cars yet ! They are gauging interest to see if the business is viable before they commit to their fleet orders.
