English teaching, job-sharing, Basel

I work for six months in Basel as a self-employed English teacher and tutor from April to October every year. The problem is that it most students want to learn English for the whole year, and want continuity.

If you are a qualified and experienced English teacher who works (or wants to work) in Basel from October to April, don't hesitate to PM me.

We could share our students and info and both gain.

Re: English teaching, job-sharing, Basel

Hello Richie,

I am a native English speaker and a California credentialed social science teacher. Presently, I have a contract with the International School Basel as a cover teacher, but I am seeking more work. In the past, I have tutored friends In English while I have been in Switzerland and I believe I can become a successful English teacher. Please let me know if you think I would be a good fit for your customers.

Re: English teaching, job-sharing, Basel

Hey,

I'm moving to Basel from Colorado in the US in October. I have a couple of bachelor's degrees and really no idea what I am going to do while I'm their. My girlfriend suggested that I tutor english. It sounds like the timing may be good, but let me know a little more about the job and if you think I am qualified.

Thanks,
Aaron

Is it tough working in the international school(s) in town? I'm working on my master's and taught in Japan, but just officially as an "assistant" (ALT for 15 months) or in language schools (3 years).

Hello Richie,

I've just read your post about sharing students from October to April. I realize that you posted this over a year ago, but I would like to know if you are looking for someone to share your students again this year. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,

Molly Boblett
