| | Pakistani Cooking Classes in Geneva
I will be starting cooking classes (Pakistani cuisine) from Tuesday the 12th of October. They will run every tuesday afternoon (12-3:00)pm. I will outline the menus briefly here. Because my kitchen has limited space I can only accept 4 people at a time! After cooking the food we will sit down and eat the proof! People in a rush can take their individual portions with them, i.e. if you have places to be at you don't HAVE to stay till 3:00!! If any of your friends or spouses/partners wishes to join they are welcome to.
I will provide all ingredients for the class. The class+lunch will be Chf50 per person per class. You can come for whichever class you wish to.
For more information please send me a private message. | This user would like to thank amna for this useful post: | |

Hello!
If you tell me what you eat and what you don't I could tailor one of the classes to your needs. It might help if other vegans join in for the class, though!

amna, you say you don't have to stay until 3:00 ... what is the earliest you could see someone leaving and still fully participate in the cooking
and
what part of GE are you in ( generally speaking ) ?

Hi there
You could probably leave by two. I live in Genthod village (near Versoix). Bus V and the train both nearby.

Oooooh I'd be interested in a vegan class (I'm vegetarian but I love to cook vegan when I can).
Probably not just yet as I've only arrived, but certainly within the next couple of months...
I'll PM you Amna.

Currently, the menus look like this. If three or four vegans could agree on a tuesday I could change it to suit their needs.
Menu 1 (October 12th)
Boneless chicken in a delicate tomato sauce
rice with peas
suji ka halwa (dessert with semolina) Menu 2 (October19th)
Chicken karahi (Traditional chicken cooked with onions, garlic, ginger)
Tehri (rice cooked with potatoes)
Aubergine with tomatoes and onions Menu 3 (October 26)
Fish in traditional spices with a creamy sauce
bhindi (okra with tomatoes and onions)
rice with peas and sweetcorn Menu 4 (November 2cnd)
Dahi wala Keema (mincemeat with spicy yogurt)
daal mahrani (lentils, delicately flavoured with butter and spices)
rice wtih vegetables Menu 5 (November 9th)
Chicken flavoured with cocunut cream and ground almonds
freshly made naans
kheer (rice pudding) Menu 6 (November 16th)
Fish with hara masala (mint and coriander chutney)
Lentils
Shahi tukras (pakistan bread pudding)

I need to have a look at my schedule, but if I can get out by about 2pm I might be interested in a couple of courses.
