BTW DB came over last weekend and was glued to Sky News, okay the rioting had something to do with it but there you go.
Actually, I am currently in the US so am 7 hours off your time.

Besides, it's DB's fault for linking to this thread from another extremely valuable post that he made in another thread.

Re: People who talk about the telly

In these times of Coronavirus lockdown, calling friends up to tell them about what you are watching on TV to break the monotony doesn't seem so odd. Can you post your phone number on here DB? We could set up a party line to discuss Bargain Hunt with my mum (who used to tell me the plotlines on TV dramas)?
Any good quality shows on TV worth watching at the moment?
I'll start, I don't mind Come Dine With Me for a quick distraction since my sister recommended it a few years ago. But now it is just repeats.

Re: People who talk about the telly

Good idea!

My "go to" shows at the moment are Midsommer Murders, Father Brown and Doc Martin. For non-Brits, these shows aren't usually part of the typical list of shows to watch but I've really enjoyed the light entertainment and wonderful scenery of the Cotswolds and Cornwall.

Another show I've discovered is "the Empress of China." The costumes and plotlines of this Japanese historical series is phenomenal.
