I have long hair which during the week I wear in a pony tail (is 38 middle age ?). The pony tail is the weekday version of my weekend persona:

Remind me of a good yarn.
Old man walks into his local bar and sees a punk (ala above) sitting on his stool and stares at him.
Punk- whatcha looking at Grandad haven't you done anything crazy in your life?
Grandad- Sure I have done a lot of crazy things in my life, this one time I had sex with a chicken and judging by your head and age I think you could be my son!!

Most middle aged men with ponytails think that they are 10 years less than their actual age.Young ladies are specially attracted with such people when they see them rear back. They do not surrender but retreat from the age battle ground
Hmm, while I find a certain type of middle aged men attractive, that does not include guys with pony tails. Never, ever. But then I'm probably too old for THAT type of guy.

Ponytails = WTF. Seriously there are some aspects of Switzerland that are so stuck in the 80ies, it would be funny if it wasn't so sad (like a really good mullet - cracks me up every time). It is like they are flipping the bird to evolution, I got to 1986 and i am staying here!! I think they also work as Radio Music directors, I have yet to find a radio station in Switzerland that is not a perfect match for a ponytail or mullet wearing ------ (add your own description)
It pays the bills (and QUITE well, I must say).

But, since my younger daughter is now doing a hair-dresser apprenticeship, I find it hard to keep my hair long enough for pony-tails any more!

But, I'll leave it until late spring (start of the serious motorcycle season), and cut it again then.

Tom

Yeah, I think when you were 20, you were too old.....(I did not mean you specifically)

So I guess ponytails don't fit in the UBS dress code.

Redheads turn ash blond or brunette by the age of 60.
It's not a natural color for older people, which is why it looks (and is) fake regardless of the color tone at that age.

Anyway red, blond or dark, pony-tails are just sooooo wrong on a man.
A handsome bald man is far more attractive than a guy with hair-do.

Nothing turns a woman off faster than a guy who competes with her for the bathroom mirror and swipes her hair conditioner !

Middle-aged men with ponytails

What is up with older women with magenta hair? Also a sort of skunk hair. Black with a shock of white or red up front. Interesting to say the least.

Seriously, why do you do it? There's half a dozen here at work and it looks truly and utterly ridiculous.
Is it simply to disguise that old friend the Mullet you can't bring yourself to have cut off?
Well they are simply for the " coolest " of the " cool "

He’s gone right down in my estimations now although I wouldn’t call him middle aged.

Ponytails on men are ridiculous, the older they are the more ridiculous they look.

Its got nothing to do with him. It has to do with a man wearing his hair tied back

For any out there with hair tied back. Be careful what your wife or friend does when you are sleeping. Look what happened to Samson

"Delilah then woos him to sleep "in her lap" and calls for a servant to cut his hair. Samson loses his strength and he is captured by the Philistines who blind him by gouging out his eyes."
