Lots of people said it was weird, nothingís changed in that regard.
However the world is more accepting of people's personal choices with regard to clothes, gender & sexuality than in the 70's.

Mmmm... Chris Hemsworth looks most excellent with a pony tail. Also Johnny Depp and Tim Minchin.

Yes. Those people were called the " straights". Unable to accept anything different

I hope so. I hope they are more accepting as opposed to just saying they are.

Long hair is still in...just in a man-bun.
I'm a long-haired man myself.. I'd rather attract coronavirus than wearing a man-bun.

Sensible man. Man-buns are even worse than ponytails.

That’s true, it won’t stop people having an opinion about it though.

It will be easier for me, there is no chance for me to have a ponytail.

Hold your horses, they said the virus madness will stop April the earliest...So hope it's not gonna be the virus making the choice for you.

Honestly, either way, I don't care. Man-bun or not, it can look nice when with hot clothes, face, etc. So can a crew-cut, etc.

Heís gone right down in my estimations now although I wouldnít call him middle aged.
He's 57 this year... I am very happy to hear that that's not middle aged! (Or are you saying he's PAST that point now?!)

But yeah, in omtatsat's man-crush photo he looks about 12.

The guy in the photo is Chris Hemsworth, no? He got his hair long because its part of playing Thor.

He is born in 1983.

(And the only thing he has in common with omtatsat is being Aussie...)

It's actually hilarious omtatsat chose "Thor" to somehow illustrate this thread or whatever his intentions were....

@Omtatsat,

Chris Hemsworth is hot, with ponytail or without.

It's not the ponytail. Trust me. It's who is wearing it.

I thought that was a picture of me for a second there - I guess from other statements that it's an actor, and he seems vaguely familiar. But yes, he looks good, no?

FWIW my hair is similar length and colour to that (perhaps a bit more blond) but I prefer to wear it loose whenever possible, as continual tying into a ponytail damages it too much. I sometimes do it all in a French plait, which the girls always seemed to like back in the day, but it's a bit too much effort for everyday.

As for 'man buns', no, they're just silly.

At my last workplace the women always would say " they will cut off my Schwanz ". One even got the scissors out!

Itís a matter of personal preference.
In my opinion there are very few men who can pull off long hair with or without a ponytail. Chris Hemsworth is probably one of them.
Men with ponytails for the most part just look gross to me.

For what itís worth I also think there are plenty of women with long here who could benefit from a more flattering hairstyle but as I said thatís just my opinion.
