| | whats up with swiss not selling their best sellers in the US on home turf?
So I am wondering why is it that I cant find arbonne or St Ives or any other close to decent ( read wonderfully effective ) swiss product here that is so popular in the US?
Also since I cant seem to find any of that here - anyone care to enlighten me on diadermine. I see it every where but cant figure out a word on the packaging yet ( all in french ). And yes before you suggest I should learn french, I am trying but I doubt my vocabulary would inlcude chemical compositions any time soon so HAAAAAAAAAALLP!!!

Arbonne "formulated in Switzerland, made in USA"? - marketing scheme...
St. Ives "based on Swiss forumulas", probably as far as that goes...

Arbonne hints at being of Swiss origin ("quality and effectiveness developed in Switzerland in 1975" and "Formulated in Switzerland, Made in The USA"), but I've yet to find a real Swiss background.
According to the Swiss Commercial Registry, the management of the branch in Hünenberg (ZG) consists of five Americans, all living in the USA, and one Swiss. There is not even a trace of Swiss influence in the Global Office Executive Team, and the stuff is not made in Switzerland.
I looked into the matter a few years ago, when my AOH was planning on getting a foot in the door of Arbonne. She asked those folks about the Swiss connection but never got even a hint of an answer.
We eventually came to the conclusion that the Swiss thing probably was just used to stand out against the crowd, mainly in the USA. I figure a few American guys having met in a grotto in Ticino over a glass of Merlot, pondering upon a new company, jotting the concept down on a paper placemat and then flying back to the USA.
Maybe someone else has more reliable information. Arbonne doesn't want to tell us.

For Diadermine you could ask the producer: Henkel |

St Ives - US (California.based company, wholly-owned subsidiary of the Alberto Culver Company, itself an American (Illinois) company.
Only connectionof St Ives with Switzerland would appear to be the use of variants of the marketing phrase "Swiss Formula" | Quote: | | | | | Maybe someone else has more reliable information. Arbonne doesn't want to tell us. | | | | | I think you probably had a narrow escape...
Arbonne - Some poeple would see it as an MLM, i.e a Multi-Level Marketing, and others might think that under it all it's a Pyramid-selling Scam.
Oh, and they went into Chapter11 bankruptcy this time last year, with debts in excess of $800million , so judge for yourself
Connection with Switzerland is that the original founder of the company was a Norwegian living in Arbonne at the time he did his "formulations"
