Nespresso.....Ha Ha!
If that's your benchmark for good coffee then we can end this conversation now. | | | | | My benchmark is the stuff that we get pretty much anywhere in Italy, though the stuff we had over that past 10 days in Treieste was definitely above the benchmark.
Hell, even the stuff we made in the morning in the Hello-Kitty moka beats anything here.

| | | | | Italian espresso is my benchmark too.
Not sure why you groaned me for suggesting that Nespresso really shouldn't be the benchmark?

Tom | | | | | Judging by the fact that you groan almost everyone on this forum on every other post (drive-by groaning, I think it's called), it's funny that you question other peoples' attitudes. | The following 2 users groan at Tom1234 for this post:

First time they blow smoke in your face... take the cigarette out of their mouth/hand and put it out for them...
If they re-light... take out the spray can of water you carry with you everywhere and spray it in their face.
If they light a third one... at least they're at the other end of the platform by now...

In an open space where smoking is allowed by law..., what a stupid post.

Well, my benchmark for coffee is that made from beans lovingly hand-picked by pretty virgins in the highlands of Ethiopia before being prepared in a briki by a long-bearded farmer with 80 years of coffee brewing experience, having been taught by the great barristo Silviano Presso (after whom the "espresso" is named) himself back in the 1930s.

Gosh, you lot are a bunch of pretentious twats sometimes. | | | | | Someone who thinks that Nespresso coffee is the best coffee in the world when so much real espresso is available in a country just down the road is a bit like someone saying that those pretty virgins are ok but they prefer a donkey.

Surely you want to your end away with someone who knows what they are doing.
And besides most virgins are either under the age of consent or simply just unattractive. | The following 2 users would like to thank dodgyken for this useful post:

As I when on visit to Ticino rather drink wine, I now have some questions
> what about Chicco d'Oro ?? that national coffee of the Ticino and most likely the official drink of the LEGA DEI TICINESI
> what about Expresso in Ticino ? is that Italian Espresso or the Nestle stuff ?

It's totaly irelevant what we like/dislike, as we are all different, all these conversations of "best" whatever are stupid as we all like different things.
I absolutely adore smoking on train platforms
I belieive you are somewhat against this though
