Interesting that the overwhelming majority of the poll supports the smoke-free option...
At this point the numbers are
39% smokefree
37% status quo
24% some smoking corners

Heard someone mention that SBB will be making train platforms smoke free- any truth to this or just wishful thinking?

So far the SBB thing is a trial, limited to four stations or so, and with different degrees of smokelessness.

If you use one of the four, please tell them what a great thing this is. If you don’t please ask them to make your station smoke-free.

Thank you

I think it sucks, despite the fact that I don't smoke.

I’d prefer it if all nicotine addicts satisfied their addictions on another planet, not in my face. No civilised country should let addicts ‘shoot-up” where it disturbs others, particularly me.

Selfish, you betcha. I’ve already survived another form of cancer, so far, I don’t need another.

Actually having the drug addicts in central visible parts of the city is part of one of the main 4 pillars of the Swiss Drug policy.

LOL, why? A reason to leave his/her country no?
The only problem now is that we don't have his country's system to stop the smokers

You should probably feel compassion for smokers considering alot of them will die excruciating deaths from lung cancer

Re: Smoking on the train platforms.uughh

I was standing behind a bloke at the tram stop who was smoking a pipe. Brought back fond memories of my granddad who always lit up a fragrant tobacco on special occasions.

I would positively encourage smoking if smokers only had pipes...

I remember a "family meeting" when my foster father would try out new pipe tobaccos. "eeek, not this one" ..... "that one is niiiice" ...... from the audience.
