Parking Vevey: Change of hours

Vevey seems to have found a self financing way of advertising their extended hours for parking at the Place du Marché.

It's all well and good to extend the paid parking from 19:00 to 22:00, but if the only means that they have of notifying people of the change is a 40 CHF fine then I think that the money they are saving on advertising is probably being spent on councelling of their call center staff. I know that I will be giving them a call tommorrow and letting them know my views regarding their way of changing the hours.

Yes, of course I know it won't change a thing and I will still have to pay the 40 CHF fine regardless, but at least I will be able to blow off a bit of steam.

Re: Parking Vevey: Change of hours

its written on the big signs around the car park and on the parking meter. I do understand your point but I think that's what they will say.

I know it is what they will say, but how often do you look at such signs after the 1st time?

Still, I already send the following e-mail to the Vevey police just to relive some stress. (Sorry, I know that this is the English forum, but the Vevey police speak mostly French)
