OK, so where's my Fedex?

Well well. Yesterday I received a "sorry we missed you" message from a parcel that I was anxiously waiting for. I called them and agreed upon receiving it this afternoon since I'd be home. Changed plans, came home at lunch time but had to leave early. Called Fedex, they said the parcel was delivered! Checked internet tracking, where I read "delivered, 12.01"! I was bloody home at bloody 12 o'clock and no bloody Fedex showed up to deliver my bloody - sorry - lovely parcel! Nothing in the mailbox whatsoever. I bet it isn't under the mat cause I didn't check it!

Re: OK, so where's my Fedex?

Well, I hope you get it!!

I had a delivery from Fedex who delivered someone elses package to me - they had put a sticker with my name on the package - but it was clearly addressed to someone else.

I called them and they picked the package up - so where is mine I ask???

The other person kept my package - they know who it is and all I have been told is that the person who sent me my package can claim the cost back

So what is the point of signing? - It was a gift to me that I have now lost. My mistake was being honest and letting them pick the package back up.I should have kept it.
Rant over...
Good luck - I hope you get yours!!!

Honestly, this is terrible! The post office doesn't do his job but also doesn't take his responsability!

Imagine if you receive a very valuable package (something that can't be replace) what they will do, will say? Too bad?

Re: OK, so where's my Fedex?

I've got four "doors" in the building. I didn't remember you had to sign Fedex actually, as this is the second event with parcels this week. On Tuesday arrived a big box from DHL (no signatures, apparently) which was left laying in the entrance hall (I didn't know the parcel had the key ). Inside? A Seat Ibiza AC radiator! I don't even have a bloody Seat Ibiza... no sender, but with a warning that I will be charged in CHF 30.

Anyone needing a radiator for a Seat Ibiza?

Well, about half an hour later, I realized a friend sent me a completely different - and smaller - part for his car (a Citroen) which was quite expensive in his country...

Back to the Fedex parcel, I knew couple of things could've happened but I didn't actually consider the possibility of the neighbours keeping it as Tuesday's package was left in the hall. Was it me, would at least left a note on the mailbox. Now I have to try to find it - will knock their doors tomorrow.

Re: OK, so where's my Fedex?

So the story went more weird than it sounded at first. I called Fedex and the girl said that the person who signed had the same name as my landlord.

For my surprise, like 20 minutes later one work colleague showed up with my package - at my workplace! My guess is that in my first phone conversation with Fedex when arranging the second tentative delivery, I mentioned that delivering in my office would be an option - nevertheless we agreed that it would be delivered in my home at a certain time. Luckily I wasn't home waiting for a package that was in my office!

So all just a tiny bit of misunderstanding "no reason for panic on the Titanic"
