When it comes to reliability: I love the services on offer, but at least in our case did nothing from telephone to credit card provider in said funny country work on the first attempt if you do not kick them hard. A bit like Cablecom here...
Say what you want about Switzerland, but the Sprüngli chocolates I got from the wife were on time on my desk and nowhere else.

Get it off your chest here. If you are easily offended, please look elsewhere."?
Is it only me or did EF lately get more fluffy than in its worst time? | | | | | Whatever I am, I am not fluffy. But I was the Mod who changed the wording.
"Something really annoyed you lately...?" Something did annoy me. Your title. Unfortunately, a Mod's job is not to 'look elsewhere'. So I got it off my chest by altering it to something less offensive to my sensitive nature. I don't like this sort of language in the text of the posts either, but I would be fighting a losing battle there. However, I draw the line at a title, so if I see it, out it goes.

It appears that you're not the only one frustrated by florists |

In future, stick to these guys - highly reliable, professional and their arrangements are fantastic: http://www.fareastflora.com/
You can some order now and wifey will get some in her office tomorrow morning. Am sure she'll smile regardless of the day she gets some flowers from you (pass the bucket, someone).

A little update. I got a call this morning - at 4.45 to be exact. The gentleman who has never heard of time-shift informed me that he plans to deliver my flowers today and wanted to make sure that he got his info right that I paid extra to get them delivered before 6pm... I tried hard to stay friendly and told him that this was generally true, but I did not pay more to get them delivered a week after Valentine's day. "Sorry, we had a lot to do in the last days!". Really? What a surprise... Ok, I did not manage to stay that friendly afterwards. But I managed to get the message across that I do not want the flowers anymore, that he ruined my surprise and that it is not really acceptable to ignore my repeated emails and call attempts. All I got was a "then I will refund your payment on your credit card"...
If they bill me wrong, I will file a complaint at the Singaporean police for fraud. I hope he will get caned.

Sorry, didnt mean to laugh but its too funny.
My hubby ordered some flowers to be sent to my office once as a surprise. The florist called ME to confirm the address despite having my husband's contact. When I asked who they were, he said "oh someone's got you flowers. Its a surprise".
No longer one, is it?
Some of these numbskulls ought to be shot. Did you re-order from the link I gave you in the end? That one's decent. Also, these are the people you should complain to, if you want to take things further: http://www.case.org.sg/

I am still pissed off - especially because this was exactly in the middle of my sleep and I am totally tired right now while I wanted to enjoy the evening in the Volkshaus... I am still going, but I am afraid it will be a shorter one today because of that idiot. And if I even only lose some 5 CHF on conversion rates or similar for the booking and refunding on my credit card, I will use your link, thanks!
