Re: Discrimination by UBS

Surprised too that MM choses to ask the question here, I must say. But 'thick' 'bugger off', etc, just are way beyond the pale imho.
MishiMishi - I wish you luck but obviously you are barking at the wrong tree(s) here.

If the tone of this thread doesn't improve soon, if no information is forthcoming as to the subject 'discussed', and the wave of groans doesn't diminish, this thread will join others in the happy land.

You obviously haven't been there long enough.
Honest question for you here, mishimishi.

If you are wrong about the extent of this discrimination - and I'm not saying you are (I don't know) but if you are - would you want to hear about it, or not? You seem to have your mind pretty well made up, so I am just wondering whether it is worth anyone's trouble to respond to you further, or whether they will just be groaned at if their opinions don't match yours in all particulars.

I did EXCELLENT work for them. And my Zeugnis reflects that. I am the one who resigned because conditions were unbearable.

Many people I know who work for UBS find that it's a horrible work atmosphere, but I am wondering how much of that is attributable to discrimination.

You seem to be very opinionated, but badly informed. A bad combination.
The question absolutely is NOT what you worked for them.

The first question is in what way they did discriminate you !?

The second question is why your lawyer did NOT send you into legal proceedings.

The third question is why you ask questions to people on a forum without giving vital information and then emphasizing that your lawyer happens to be a lawyer (self obvious)

And just a hint. The UBS also has lawyers. And some of them might be on this forum, And build THEIR opinion about your activities

I think what may be hard for them to imagine is someone doing great work and then going and talking about it. I could be wrong though as I'm not a Brit.

Too much of noise in the thread .. Please forget your nationality issues and help UBS, I mean the OP

Mishimishi, this what I wrote when I awarded you you second red blob:

A judge found that I was being discriminated against.

And she was familiar with the details of the case, and heard arguments for and against. Her judgement is not binding, however, as this was the Stichtungsstelle.

And what is this wave of nastiness directed against me? If you were in my situation, you would probably be doing the same as I am as it is really unpleasant situation to have experienced.

And the person to have asked why they would discriminate against a star employee is really naive when it comes to office politics...

As I am familiar with UBS' lawyers, I doubt any would be here.

I did go into legal proceedings, but for reasons I cannot go into here, do not feel that I can get a fair hearing in Switzerland. I went to the Stichtungsstelle and won.

Now, I would like to know of anyone who has had a similar experience. There was no need for all the viciousness directed at me.
