Bike stolen in the appartment

Hi all,

Recently my velo which was kept in my appartment got stolen. It was locked and yet someone has taken it. We have informed our appartment agent and they said that they will send a circular to all the tenants. We have even made a Police complaint.
We had kept our friends velo in our appartment and the seat of the velo was removed and was attached to other velo. (Some crazy guy had done it). We took back the seat and asked our friend to take back his cycle.

Within 2 days my velo was found missing. So we suspect this person who had removed the seat. But we are unable to ask him directly and we are also afraid that this guy may harm us. I am not sure is there any other best way to get it back. We are looking out for some solution which will not get us into any problems with this neighbour.

????

Re: Bike stolen in the appartment

I don't understand what else there is to do?

You've contacted the apartment agent.
You've contacted the Police and filed the report.
You won't talk to the suspect because you are afraid*

There really isn't much else you can do.

*If you are afraid of the bloke, I'd assume accusing him of theft isn't a great way to say G'Day - perhaps wise to keep your distance.
Make sure the Police know about the 'seat' incident.

Bikes go missing every day mate......... they rarely come back.

Buy another bike
Buy a BIGGER lock.
