Ouch.

Actually, not so far from the truth, she is a twin herself anf there are quite a few sets in the extended family.

while on the subject

what is it with pregnant people? you casually ask, "what sex is it" and get the reply "We know, but we're not telling people"

WTF is that about, like its a big secret?? its only a choice of 2 and we'll find out in a few months anyway.
Honestly, I hated that question. Every Tom, Dick and Harry asking that. WTF it's none of your business. Even though we never actually knew because we were in for a surprise, at a certain point I answered the question "And do you already know what it is" by saying "A human being, I suppose".

Re: Getting pregnant

What I found was that the more we were trying, the more disappointed we got. At a certain point I said " Oh, WTF, let's forget about it" and guess what happened.

'Gosh no, I dont have the time for that!!'
Ask them how much time they spend dorking around on the internet.
Then ask them how much time do they think they'll be able to squeeze into their busy lives for a new baby.
Then ask them how much time time they think they'll be able to fit in for parent-teacher conferences, doctor visits, nursing duties, school events, graduations, etc etc etc.

like i said, if you havent already, chart your BBT, and it will make your life alot easier.
With my first pregnancy i didnt even have to take a test, the temps spiked and remained high for 10days, all the confirmation you need is given by your body!

thanks, i will chart IF im still not positive next week. I have powerful ovaries (its in the genes) my problem is that i just had my depo expired last month and it takes awhile for my body to get back to normal. And im beginning to doubt the cheap china PT we bought from ebay by dozens

Isn't getting pregnant sex the best sex for a guy? None of that foreplay nonsence, just get in there.

Yo, that.

It's interesting that sex does get better with age, for a woman, when you think about 30s to 40s, while she has a lesser chance to actually have a child. Doesn't really make sense, does it.

Re: Getting pregnant

are you sure your friends really want a baby? Because I've known quite a few people who have found it tough to get pregnant. They want it so badly that they would try anything if they thought it would work. They become real experts, and know everything there is to know about fertility. Often they are the ones telling people who already have children how it all works!

I think sometimes, if you are someone who has found getting pregnant to be a straightforward process it is easy to think that other people are just not trying hard enough or not putting in enough effort. For some people there is no medical reason, it just doesn't happen or takes a long time. And I guess that must be an incredibly difficult and frustrating experience, especially when it happens for others so easily.

yes for some vomiting is not only during pregnancy, it already starts during conception.
Even in that state, sex should be fun. It's too much alcohol that isn't.
