Next winter we really will try to organise a Rappi Bier Scottish Fondue evening.
In the meantime, have you written down the recipe anywhere?

I can also recommend simple french fries for the fondue. I once had a fondue with a friend that did not like cheese, she was happy to have some fondue with fries though - and liked it! I only told her afterwards what the main ingredience in fondue is... happy days

I sell Isle of Mull cheddar to make a "Scottish Fondue" (with black beer and whisky)
Wow, I got to try this. Does your recipe call for a one-to-one replacement of the white wine with black beer and the kirsch with whisky?

No recipe really, just make the same as a Swiss cheese Fondue, you can add cornflour if you want to thicken it, but yes Suisse 2008, replace black bier for wine (Rappi Black or any good black beer or stout) and add the whisky right at the end. No need for garlic as the cheese is pretty "spicy" as it is. Many of my Swiss customers are surprised that cheddar can be used for fondue but as it is just about the best melting cheese around it does work very well. Factory made block cheddar though can be too greasy, you do really need a hard raw milk one such as Isle of Mull.

Love the stuff, nothing really wrong with it, but it would be nice to have something else then just plain bread to dip in the cheese. I'm sure I'm not the only one to complain about this, but why don't they add some veggies or something in there, or do the Swiss just love their bread too much to bother with anything else?
Almost anything pickled works.
