Then, that day they call me on their way, 30min before arriving. And there they were! I coudn't believe it! | | | | | Such things very often only to a part depend on the company but to quite a good extent on the individuals in charge

Last night when we were at the delivery-service counter, things was not right already.
The stuff at the counter was super slow, and not familiar with their system at all. But he was busy with making jokes with his fellas. They all speak French.
We waited for 20 mins. Then it took us another 20 mins to have our request made. | | | | | You give Zürich as your location, but say that the IKEA folks all spoke French, which is most exceedingly unlikely.
So, just a side question: at which IKEA are you a customer ?

I was too nervous to drive a big van in Zurich, so I had to have it delivered. It was awful--I had to wait almost three weeks due to trouble scheduling a delivery when I wasn't working. After sleeping on the floor for three weeks I wound up tearfully begging them to deliver it as soon as possible...definite low point. Is it possible to order stuff online and have it shipped? Going out to the store isn't a great experience, either!!

You can either accompany the driver or he brings it alone to your address. Unload it yourself-otherwise you have to pay extra.I live in Höngg and it was 70 Franks for a delivery from Ikea Dietlikon.Enquire at Ikea for rates-customer service.

Umm...we were delivered and our furniture assembled and they broke more things that they fixed. The company, Plantzer, was changed by Ikea for what we have understood in the last two weeks...so maybe our complain was just the last drop which camer over the brim...
In any case, I simpathize with you! | This user would like to thank timecatcher for this useful post: | |
