Hmm, here I going to sound like the OP. I find that Chinese restaurants are often overpriced and are not very authentic. And the lunch menus are worse, catering to the Swiss idea of Chinese food. But I am used to Hong Kong/Los Angeles/Toronto/London standards. And admittedly, if one is not too fussy about authenticity, some of these restaurants are of relative good value.

It's all subjective innit?

The Brandenburg is well known in Zug as great swiss food for good prices. A little walk out of the main town though.

Chinese place at the station is also pretty good.

Hospital food has to be low salt and low spice for obvious reasons- but in CH it is a LOT better than in the UK, that's for sure
