I killed 6 months by buying a playstation. Great during winter, not so great in summer (when you should be out doors)

My wife and I love video games and are always on the lookout for a great game Perhaps they are looking for something else apart from video games.

I've had exactly one month in my adult life where I had absolutely nothing to do. I had just moved to a new city to start at a new school, knew no one, and had no money, just 4 weeks of time until school started.
I got a library card and bought a couple of high quality yo-yos. I think I read about 30 books in those 4 weeks, and almost amputated the last digit on my middle finger. I can still, some 15 years later, pick up a yo-yo and do some pretty slick stuff .

This really can't be a serious thread. How come in the first place that you just don't know what to do with yourself?
What a boring person you might be. Get a life and you will find it's enjoyable !

| | Re: Nothing to do???! | Quote: | | | | | Maybe I've been spoiled by not living in Switzerland for my whole life. But why is it that there is nothing to do here that does not cost a fortune??? Since restaurants are the only things open past like 5 pm, what else is there to do! I'm not trying to be mean, I need some ideas because I am going nuts.
Maybe just some input on what you guys do for fun. I have a lot of time on my hands recently, and besides playing video games, and taking out a loan for a piece of sausage, any little bit of information helps (kidding bout the loan part)
Or just make this a thread about things that annoy you in this country | | | | | I'm sorry ..... you chose your username because ......?
Why don't you read a couple of good books? |

1) Get on the internet and meet a girl/boy/monkey/whatever e.g. parship.ch
2) Line up dates for Monday to Friday.
3) Focus on one monkey and "get serious/committed/whatever"
4) Plan to have a family
5) Have a family
6) Game over, and no coming back on the Forum saying "I don't have any time whatsoever...." | | | | | Sounds familiar, cheers for that |
