I was surprised as I have found the Swiss kids to actually seem to have more old values and less aggro than others..

..well, you're definitely entering the "milf" stage. But back on topic...any juvenile behavior (outside of the EF) that really bugs you (you as in everybody not just Nil)?

I think the problem is such youth are never confronted and they think they are "gangstas" and can get away with it.

Once in a bar, this youth was pushing into me a bit aggressively as if he refuses to acknowledge Im behind him and expecting me to move. I held my ground and he kept trying to push into me so I tapped his shoulder and asked him "Are you ok?" he ignored and didnt say anything. Then he tried to push past me and I tapped his shoulder bit firmly and asked him "Whats your problem?" he again ignored and moved away.

He was probably thought he could get away with it with his gang around him but I was pizzed enough to take him outside and slap some sense into him.

Another time, this youth cut me in a queue and again a gentle tap on the shoulder and reminder that "There is a queue" made him back off with an apology.

I mean, do they really think listening to some tough and foul languaged gangsta rap and wearing their trousers just aove their knees makes them tough??

I love the "trousers round their ankles" look; I just wished they'd work out more instead of dieting on M-Budget energy drink and cigarettes.

Yeah, that is usually the case. Few people bother to stand up to those guys and if somebody does, they are just as surprised as their "victims". Unlike the mad hatters, few and far in between, fortunately.

To be honest: No. Not a bit. They drink too much are are fairly noisy around HB on a weekend evening, but they are overall far more boring/ less provocating than we were in the 90s.

Clothes: Wearing some rubbish 80s retro fashion? Hardly provocating grandmas today. If granny is honest, she had worse clothes back in the real 80s...

Music: I'd say that the last ten years are probably the most boring one in terms of pop music since the 50s.

I personally see so many things in the world that teenagers should complain about and fight for... instead do they seem overall far more conservative and adapted than in any other of the last 5 decades.

Overall are quite some older people behaving worse than the kids today.



(Q: When was the last time you read a story to your grandchildren? A: They are 17, they are already screwing, I do not need to read stories to them anymore...)

Sorry forgot to add disclaimer, only try with folks smaller than you and never with foreigners. One guys I know got pushed into a lake and injured his leg really bad and another got stabbed in the neck. Luckily it missed any vital veins and parts.

Not on the estate itself - but yes in Brixton, very happily & without incident for 12 yrs & still own a flat there.
