Part of my job involves doing "opposition research". You can look up the current board of directors in the company register (www.zefix.ch), which states "Turish citizen"...

The board of directors of a GmbH does not necessarily have to be the owners of the company, but if you look through the dissolved companies you can see that the same guy used to have a "Kollektivgesellschaft" with the same purpose, which means he essentially upgraded his Kollektivgesellschaft to a GmbH to limit his liability...

Re: Is it wrong to put out Broken Items for Gratis?

Thank you everyone for your advice and opinions, I now have a better understanding of Gratis. I took the broken stuff back and found that they had put more appliances and broken ornaments in the box. I was very concerned about the faulty appliances because as one member pointed out, it is potentially very dangerous. Sitting out in the rain certainly would not help. So I popped a new sign on the box saying. Warning Broken & Faulty Electrical Appliances ( The Box has since disappeared!) So it would seem that person has got the message Cheers

Re: Is it wrong to put out Broken Items for Gratis?

I wouldn't say it's wrong as in " OMG, call the police!" type of wrong, but I do think it's lazy. If someone had marked the box as broken it would be fine, but it saves them to recycle I guess. I agree with the put it back and write a note comment! :P
