Yesterday the weather was so bad starting late in the afternoon but my hubby had to go do some errands (flat tire/food for school party today). I texted him in his swiss and german phones some additional items we need but he came home without any of it.

After 2 hours he got my text messages. We read it and its 2 different messages. One text was in swiss german, the other is in a language we dont know. Both from me. We just looked at each other and started joking around about it like maybe he has another stephanienie. But its from my number and thinking of it now, its kinda freaky. I never experienced that even in the Philippines.

Is this because of the weather? Im on coop mobile, do they just suck? I wonder who got my text messages about buying a mask, some lemons etc. Who got the message saying he´s my hero?

Your husband's phone isn't actually his? Mix up down at the gym / office / somewhere else he has become separated from his phone?

You don't even wanna go this direction, so you mean she messaged someone else instead of her husband who happened to be a friend asking him for lemons and calling him her hero

It was probably meant to be sent to someone else gata, it wasn't meant to be to you....take it with a grain of salt

The phone company stores the incoming SMSs on a computer & then distributes them.
I suppose it is possible that the tables with the phone numbers & messages could get corrupted & consequently link phone numbers with wrong messages; if that happened I would expect a lot of people to be impacted.

Had the same issue yesterday, been told that a few of my texts landed in England with upside down question marks and messages like "Verfügbares Guthaben ist...".
Weird.

This can get very ugly if some financial heads were messaging deal details to each other......hope someone have sent the next euro million combo and it lands on my phone

Same here both yesterday evening and today. Sunrise, normal monthly abo. Hope they get this sorted out quickly.

Bloody hell, I got two messages last night that made absolutely no sense! One in French and one in English... Seems something fishy went on last night with SMS.

Yeah, was odd. I sent my wife a message "Thanks for last night, you were wonderful", then she pointed out she had been on a night shift .

I got a wierd message, "Wir bedanken uns für Ihren Einkauf im Ovi", from somebody who definitely didn't send it...

I got a line of upsidedown question marks,
the word 'dvance'

a name (won't post it, but don't know it) then some more upsidedown question marks after the @ symbol.


It was very nice to receive an sms message though
