Parteipräsient Toni Brunner. "Wir wollen, dass die schwarzen Schafe endlich ausgeschafft werden." Die SVP greift denn auch erneut auf das Schafe-Plakat zurück, das vor den letzten Wahlen Diskussionen ausgelöst hatte. Damals sammelte die SVP Unterschriften für die erste Ausschaffungsinitiative.

Translation: The president of the SVP wants to expel any foreigners who commit a crime in Switzerland. These foreigners he calls black sheep ( Schwarze Schafe). What sort of a stupid racist attack is that?

Why don't EF forum members who are fed up of racism got together and tried to change things politically. Switzerland is a free country-you have the right to free speech and public demonstration. there is an organization that you can join- I already provided links. Otherwise you can form your own.

So if I'm against racism, why should I be against expelling criminal foreigners?

Or is it just that everything we don't like is automatically racist?

I think if the EFers formed their own political party it would just make it easier for SVP to herd us all up (and out on the next cargo train). ;)

Switzerland paying some expats loads of money doesn't mean we close our eyes and shut up our mouths on obvious racism, some people need to be objective a bit and forget about their bank accounts.

Criminals foreigners expelled ....Yes.
Calling a someone black is totally different story.

For me, it's one word....screw the SVP and everyone supporting them big time and i don't really mind packing and leaving immediately now if this is what Switzerland is :mad:

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but we had a vote here last year and Brunner's argument is aimed at Bundesrat Sommaruga's seeming inability to initiate the legal process in writing the articles into law.

Sorry, no need to debate this again here, nothing to see, let's all move on and keep a smile. It's Swiss democracy working.

The issue is whether one chooses to feed it though.

Ignore it and it's as good as dead then they have to spend more time and money trying to figure out the next fire-cracker of a campaign to outrage these people.

This image is truly shocking...the overtones of racism are not even a little subtle. Even if "black sheep" is an expression, no one can ignore the visual impact of such a display.
