Which Sheep does he mean? Translation: The president of the SVP wants to expel any foreigners who commit a crime in Switzerland. These foreigners he calls black sheep ( Schwarze Schafe). What sort of a stupid racist attack is that? |
Re: Which Sheep does he mean? Translation, please. |

Re: Which Sheep does he mean? Why don't EF forum members who are fed up of racism got together and tried to change things politically. Switzerland is a free country-you have the right to free speech and public demonstration. there is an organization that you can join- I already provided links. Otherwise you can form your own. |

I wasn't aware that foreigners were a race. I wasn't aware that criminal foreigners were a race. So if I'm against racism, why should I be against expelling criminal foreigners? Or is it just that everything we don't like is automatically racist? |

Re: Which Sheep does he mean? wasn't this last year's initiative which BTW has been discussed ad nauseum in the EF? |

Re: Which Sheep does he mean? Switzerland paying some expats loads of money doesn't mean we close our eyes and shut up our mouths on obvious racism, some people need to be objective a bit and forget about their bank accounts. Criminals foreigners expelled ....Yes. Calling a someone black is totally different story. For me, it's one word....screw the SVP and everyone supporting them big time and i don't really mind packing and leaving immediately now if this is what Switzerland is  |

Re: Which Sheep does he mean? Are you blind- have you seen the posters? How much clearer can that be? I am absolutely sure you are not that naive. En Suisse, l'UDC affiche son racisme sans complexe http://www.rue89.com/files/20070924S...tonsinside.JPG |

Re: Which Sheep does he mean? Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but we had a vote here last year and Brunner's argument is aimed at Bundesrat Sommaruga's seeming inability to initiate the legal process in writing the articles into law. Sorry, no need to debate this again here, nothing to see, let's all move on and keep a smile. It's Swiss democracy working. If you'd care to read the SVP's gripe, it's here. |

Ignore it and it's as good as dead then they have to spend more time and money trying to figure out the next fire-cracker of a campaign to outrage these people. |
