It's easy I have no problem with this, even if the chap is x3 times the size of me, and if he's a multiple black belt I don't give a shit. He still gets punched.
The point is that he's decided to molest my financee and crossed a line for which I have zero tolerance. Under no circumstances is sexual abuse acceptable.
Other problems I always talk first act later, this is one of my completely unacceptable scenarios.
Surprise comes to play, which means act quickly and decisively with appropriate force. A side ways fist between the nose and mouth has the general affect required. It's a pressure point and disable most attackers if aimed correctly with correct force. Whilst being affective it's not OTT aka causing permanent damage.
I was bought up in a shit hole, full of drugs, chavs and bar brawls and I know how to handle these situations with years of experience in the UK. I come off better in 99% of occasions. It does not mean I actively seek these environments anything but. I am the real deal.
Yes I'd stand in front of a judge and justify my actions. Even if I went down or got a large fine I would do it again.
I have done it in mutilple times real life to defend ex's (and I've the bottle marks on my head to prove it) and I would do it again. Only this time with lot more vigor to defend my fiancee.
Sure sounds like French to me. You can hear one of the beaten guys mumble something about merde toward the end, sound like the filmer hollers 'c'est assez' as well. Every punch up or car accident clip on the net gets labeled "russian" . (Is it Russian??)
You are right, it was a Niqab, I often use the terms interchangeably as to an infidel like me they look rather similar:
why do you call yourself an infidel? and what does your significant other think about it?
ok, i was kidding. but just to let you know, infidel is what christians used to call muslims back in the day, and not the other way around. muslims calls non-muslims kafeer, which literally means somebody that covers something. way better than "infidel" IMHO

If they really are Saudis causing the trouble, then all the Swiss people have to do is quietly mention to the Saudi Arabian government that the Swiss bankers may start treating Saudi accounts with the same callousness that some of their citizens treat the Genevans.
But if course the banks won't will they because they bend over backwards, forwards, anyway the Saudis like as long as they get those accounts.
Some people are really dumb if they think that the Saudis running out of gas will be their demise. Look at the property bought around the Lake of Geneva or the lake of Zurich. Most Arabs have invested heavily abroad- US too.
I also feel that some foreigners who move to Switzerland are so eager to fit in they tend to become fervently patriotic; as if they have to prove themselves to be accepted. They even start to give the Swiss advice on how to be Swiss. They become sticklers for following the rules. Ex-Pats whose elevated status gives them an air of superiority, who themselves having been put-down, then take the opportunity to degrade others. The pecking order, snobbery and sycophantic behaviour to Swiss bosses is truly sickening at times. They so fear being discriminated against themselves that they take part in any opportunity to discriminate against others.
What they don't realize is that far from having gaining more respect, they actually lose respect in the eyes of the more influential Swiss.
I can't believe I am reading this. I would love to be near by if someone did that to my girlfriend. As one said, King of Butt. Assault is illegal here, right? I am sure if I was caught buying booze in Saudi Arabia, I wouldn't get any leniancy.

You're unlikely to be able to buy alcohol in Saudi.

my theory is that its a matter of culture and has nothing to do with oppression (theocratic or not). there are many oppressive-authoritarian cultures who wouldnt do this kind of thing, like the asians for example (n. korea and singapore to name a few), and many who are not oppressive who would happily to this kind of thing (italians, turks, etc).
its more related to the "Mediterranean culture" i think
Have you actually ever lived in Italy? Having worked there for a few years (and in different geographical areas) I find your statement more like a silly stereotype based on prejudices that facts or first hand experience.
I can't say I personally like Italy (in fact, I was only to happy to relocate elsewhere as soon as I got a chance) but for reasons that have nothing to do with what you described. What you described is not, as far as I could witness, a widespread - and/or accepted - behaviour. (Of course, assholes exist everywhere, but your statement was about the people as a whole and that's the kind of prejudiced generalization I strongly disagree with...)

Well the good thing is that at least he was prosecuted, but giving him 180 days sursis (suspended) was a pathetic slap on the wrist.
Don't forget the CHF 2'500 fine + CHF 1'000 costs (for the victim). No mention of a deportation order either. That'll teach him... NOT.
(Well he did admit sexual harrassment, so at least spared the victim som e lengthy court proceedings. And of course we know what happens when Geneva police arrest s.o. who is really important and powerful - I bet there are a lot more Swiss citizens in Saudi than there were in Lybia.)
RICH ARROGANT FOREIGNERS ARE RICH, ARROGANT AND FOREIGN
The problem is in the details - we want their cash, but not really them in the neighbourhood. We should invent something like "virtual tourism" - you pay the bills but you don't need to actually come over here to do so...

Which is why I'm all for beating the cr@p out of anyone who tries anything as best I can, at least I'll feel better for it no matter what some pathetic judge says. As for the "would you hit someone" - I've done martial arts and had a brief stint into the world of rugby, I would ABSOLUTELY hit someone if I had to.
