| | Bon Jovi - Early Start
I know we are usually grateful for the punctuality in Switzerland, but a rock and roll band starting at 7.30pm on the dot, especially when it was so difficult to park.....come on! |

I loved all those empty carparks that closed at 9 pm.. they could have all made a killing if they opened later that night. Dont tell the missus it started at 7.30, we got there at 8......I thought there were some songs missing from the set |

Be happy, we went to his concert a few years back. We waited 3 hours untill he finally arrived by heli from Italy. We died of heat that day...it was something over 35 degrees and no shade But hey you must say in the end fantastic concert, no???

It beats having the show start early. We went to a concert at Tonhalle a few years ago (maybe 2002 or so), got to the venue when the show was supposed to start and found the concert had been going on for 20+ minutes.

What are you actually complaining about dude... your inability to get there in time? Even the website recommends NOT driving http://www.stadionletzigrund.ch/en/location-plan/
Concert was pretty good except for the disturbance of the folks that were late and the walk to Hardbrucke got the legs going again.

I got there around 7:45 I think and only missed 3 songs...two of them I sang aloud while running around the frickin' huge stadium to get to the entrance, which was obviously on the other side. Other than that, fantastic show, the 3.5 drive to and 3.5 drive from were totally worth it, I'd been waiting to see them in concert for years. Just wonderful, they absolutely ROCK!!! |

Did he mention whether he liked the cheese from Grumpy's stall?

Don't complain. I got to the Guns n Roses concert in Geneva a fashionably half hour late and then sat there like a pillock for 2 hours waiting for him. Then, when the concert ended at 1 a.m there were no buses, so we had to queue for an hour to get a taxi.
What I found strange was my friend and I, when we got a taxi, asked if anyone else in the queue were going in our direction to share a taxi. Oh no, they all wanted their own personal transport. So be it as we zoomed off and left them all shivering in the cold.
Great concert though!!!
