- Curry in their terms doesnot mean indian curry , it meant Dhall , chopped and fried vegatables of different taste etc,

If it is stale food and lot of word tussle in restaurant you could have called the police immediately to come to restaurant.

Maybe you could offer him one made from freshly hand picked Schweizer Qualität flowers? I am sure he would appreciate it and prepare a freshly made curry for you on the spot

Yeah true I should I have called Police immedialtey my mistake i never had before such experience in life so my reaction at that time was not adequate.

The dall did not had single vegetable and chopped beet root do not count as curry nor do Spinach.

You complain about stale food. Do you know how many, oh so wonderful better restaurants serve food that is microwaved or simply heated up?

I agree that making a political statement is a bit out of proportion for a restaurant, but then again food is served in the past to many nationality as mentioned by others in this thread, who did not feel offended (incl. Indians).

If I would have been in your shoes, I would have called up either the restaurant owner or the guy the next day to clarify things and to say sorry - not because you were guilty, but to offer a platform for the "bad" guy to say sorry to you.

I think OP is confusing the whole concept of curry. In andhra and Tamil nadu "Thali" system, you do not get 5 curries.
Normally its one daal (lentils/pulses)
One "wet" veggie
One "dry" veggie
One "chatni"/pickle etc.,

I dunno about switzerland, but in India 90 INR gets you unlimited stuff of these in a medium end "Andhra/Tamil" restaurant. Thats 1.5 CHF.
For 14 CHF you can probably get the chef home

As for Indian restaurant I find the concept of an Indian restaurant funny, but from my travels abroad, I see
Indian restaurant = Mostly Punjabi/pakistani food and curries
South Indian restaurant - Tamil cusine.

I wouldn't know anything about this racism subject. Indians, tamils or pakistanis all look the same to me

The only thing I know is, if I ever go to eat to any cheap place on the Langstrasse area, be it Indian, Sri Lankan, African, Mexican or Kebap and I have bad stomach the next day, it will only me the one to blame.
