I'm not a fan of big cleavage-having it myself, Carmen Electra looks hot n leggings, because she would look hot in anything- even a bin liner.
I love the combination pulled off by bimbo-looking braniacs. I like people who push limits and won't follow convention. I do think that I have become more prudish since living in the US, but even if it was a guy bending over while I was eating, in see-through cut-off tights, I still would have been offended.

By the way if you do want to wear these, I advise the following to keep your butt in shape. Lots of squats- deep lunges. But best of all wherever you have the time- in the car, on a bus or train keep your buttocks clenched and pull your stomach in. Motorbikes are great for this. If that begins to ache then you can rhythmically clench and un-clench- easier if you have music! After a while you will be able to crack nuts.
