Eh? Laughter doesn't upset me, but their attitude and demeanour did at the time. I don't know why I would be seen as really bitter because I'm not like that. We turned the other cheek and left and they didn't seem to care either way what people thought so bully for them I guess.
Well, you went back home and complained about it for once...

hang on, their having noisy, wet fun in public interrupted your perving at children and you're complaining?

was their attitude and demeanour simply the fact that they did not appear to be Swiss?

I don't get it and call troll on this thread.

Re: Really out of order behaviour.

Everyone has a limit where they will get annoyed at some stage, unless you have a halo above your head. Sure I might draw the line a bit earlier than most, but so what. All I'm doing is having a gripe. After this I'm finished, I don't care about it any more. It's the people that don't know how to complain or who don't have an outlet to vent once in a while that you need to watch out for .

All the people there that had a problem with that couple, (it was our problem that we didn't like their behaviour, absolutely no sarcasm intended) left while shooting them dirty looks. We had our issues with them, dealt with it and left. I just took it a step further and posted about it. Of course I go and have fun on holiday and let loose a little, I just see if it's a suitable location first and that I'm not upsetting people to the point that they have to leave.

Re: Really out of order behaviour.

so, peashakes, what exactly was it that upset you? The noise? The fact that they were having fun? The fact that you considered them too old to play in the water toy? The fact that it wasn't you? Or something else?

I simply cannot empathise with you or understand what the issue is.

Re: Really out of order behaviour.

I don`t see how it could have been peaceful if kids were running around in the fountain, I am concerned that it was necessary to point out that the couple "spoke with british accents", and I surmise therefore that this is an anti British rant and therefore not deserving of my very valuable attention. Im out.

He probably wanted to enjoy himself among the semi-naked kids..seeing how he was eyeing them before through his sunglasses.

(I hope I made the image of me and some old men watching semi naked kids playing in a fountain as less perverted as possible hehe Dark glasses are a must)
That is a deeply unpleasant thing to write - whether intended as a joke or not

It's not an anti-British rant in the least . Mentioning that they had British accents is just part of explaining the scene. Maybe I should have said a undisclosed number of a confidential species with undetermined gender turned up. I think it's more a case of this turning in an Anti-Swiss people (how dare they complain) thread, so as Duncan Bannatyne says "I'm also out".

So far I've been able to control the urge but I've always wanted to empty a bottle of bubbly washing-up liquid in a fountain

LOL, so you complain about something completely banal, joke about looking at naked kids (which by the way was disturbing) and then cry anti Swiss sentiments I vote for WTF thread of the day...

You really got the wrong end of the stick mate. Yes, you have the right to complain but do remember that on an internet forum, it a two way street. Want to write a thread about something that bugged you? Then be prepared for alternative point of views and not take it personally thinking that its about us being anti-swiss. Be ready to receive as good as you give.

Now, whether you are trolling or not, you've successfully reinforced the common perception of the Swiss as being uptight.

The kids were playing in the fountain, no one said a thing - but a couple of adults decided to join in the fun and it grated your nerves? Why?

Í'm annoyed when teenagers and 20-somethings are making out in public. Can we start a thread about that?

Damn whipper snappers should get a room (in Germany where they're cheap)
