I would like to add to this.

I would like to complain about not being able to complain about anything as it is such a beautiful day.
You suck at it!

Actually, you should know that any meta-complaint should include all sources and methods for how those sources were collected, collated and analysed. Without such background, how on earth can you expect anyone to take you seriously.

Please list references using the Vancouver sytle.

Thank you.

The Editor.
Sorry about that - don't know what came over me.

We could potentially just hijack your thread and complain about whatever.

Well, I wouldn't complain, but I'm pretty sure a mod would step in pdq and tell you to get back on topic and limit yourself to complaints about complaints

Dear Dr Weejem

Thank you for re-submitting your meta-analysis for our consideration for publication. Your willingness to provide references was duly noted by the Editorial Board's review panel.

Notwithstanding your effort, the Editorial Board, however, has agreed, by unanimous decision, that on this occasion we will not publish your paper. The reason cited is a lack of originality. Indeed the Board felt that this piece was below your usually high standards.

We wish you success in publishing future articles should they be deemed appropriate for our readership.

The Editor
Awww. Weejem. So sorry. Better luck next time!

'whatever' what? You need to be more specific so that we can join you in complaining about whatever it is you are complaining about when you're complaining. On the other hand, if you tell us what it is you want to complain about we can complain that that complaint isn't worthy of being complained about and that it isn't anything like as worthwhile as all the various complaints we have to complain about.
Is it hot or what?

Re: Meta-Complaint

Who the Hell does everyone think they are complaining to anyway? God? not a single one of us can actually help in any one of these problems, for a first off they all happened in the past, unless one of you lot is capable of time travel we shall never truly know what happened, and secondly the assailant is always an un-named mystery wrong-doer, so we have no way of punishing the individual at the centre of the complaint.

All that remains is one of two generic reactions:- 'Tut, *sigh* ..some people.' ,or, '..Some how you must be over-reacting or in the wrong yourself.'

I propose that we adjourn our verdict due to lack of evidence, unless thoroughly documented with pictures and independent witnesses statements.

Dear Sirs

I thank you for you response, and appreciate the candidness

repeated misspelling of my name).

I'd like to complain about the rise in people in Ph.D programs signing themselves

Joe Weejeem, PhD-c

WTF? This basically means 'Hi, I'm in a PhD program, or I was and am not now but you don't know and I'm not saying, but I want to have the cachet of being a PhD recipient before I've actually earned one'. Sorry, folks, there is no PhD-c, just like there's no M.D.-c, or M.B.A.-c or LD-c.
