So what if I like ice??

I get annoyed when people say things like "Oh you Americans. You like ice in EVERYTHING!"

Well, I just don't like suffering in 35 degree heat and if places had chilled water instead of just beer & sodas, then I wouldn't have to ask.

Just saying...

we are all different in our own way..isn't it? its not about americans or others.. its about people and their likes and dislikes... So enjoy having ice...there should be no problem to anyone :-)

Re: So what if I like ice??

I am definitely NOT American, but I am still shocked when you order a G&T in a restaurant and it comes with either no ice at all, or a tiny, rapidly melting slither of nature's frozen life-giver.

I'm not an American but one thing that always strikes me about the place when I'm there is the blatant waste of energy in keeping ice machines rattling away in every corridor of every floor of every hotel in every city.

But that's probably just me.

Getting stressed about stuff only makes you hotter. I would tone this one down to "mildly amused". There, much cooler...
