I didn't know what my US friends were talking about because mine was set on UK - but mine changed over a few days after theirs |

It's a timeline... how does it not make sense
I've activated the new timeline feature that gets rolled out this weekend.
It makes it much easier to see the older posts on your profile rather than the 'load more posts' and scrolling through 40 pages to get to the part you want.
I have more of a problem with this than anything they've done to change facebook. Thankfully it's rectified easily with this |

My main issue is that, while I already knew I had absolutely no control over where my stuff is going or coming from, "new" Facebook makes this very obvious. I don't like knowing I have no control...

It is a timeline of only what is made public. Which is, at least for me, intentionally not a whole timeline. Unless someone uses facebook as some kind of complete public diary a timeline doesn't work. But I guess that is what they want people to do.

Wait until real facebook Timeline rolls out....
This is the most frightening invasion of privacy ever devised...
It you didn't already know facebook now track your every move on the net, cookies are only deleted if you deleted then after every visit, if you LIKE something then you open up a whole new can of worms....
For app developers the opportunities become almost boundless

Everyone complains about new FB changes all the time. Then they get used to it.
I think all their changes have been good. Wait a bit and then you'll like it again.

Open a Yahoo mail account, download all of your Facebook friends to your contact list and save as CSV, open a Gmail account and import your Yahoo contacts from CSV, send invite to all to join Google+

I think the new timeline is great. I don't get all the moaning about "invasion of privacy": social media is, by definition, just that and you can choose to accept and be part of it or not and move on. And anyway, in this day and age privacy is pretty much an illusion, i mean just look at how many salaries you can find out on EF | This user would like to thank jmf for this useful post: | |

Thinking about deleting my account (if even possible). I don't like the new changes at all. Where all previous items were deleted by me from my page before, they're now all back due to this freaking timeline!
