I'd rant about this on Facebook, but none of my friends would see the rant due to the new ranking algorithm. Heck, I don't think I'd even see it on my old wall.

JUST MAKE IT GO BACK TO HOW IT USED TO BE!

I live my life in chronological order. Why can't Facebook let me just see it that way?

(The irony is that Facebook's new design is putting updates from all of the people that hate Facebook's new layout as "Top stories". I see what you did there, Facebook...)

"Your top stories are stories published since you last checked News Feed that we think you’ll find interesting."

As I just commented on my own Facebook page... I wish they would credit me with enough intelligence to work out for myself which stories I find interesting...

I don't even mind that they post the top stories at the top of the page. I could skip over that easily enough if I wanted to. It's that the 'Earlier' section isn't in chronological order, which has made for some bizarre updates...

Whereas before it would have read...

'Mazel Tov!'
'It's a boy!'
'My wife is in labour'
'Oh dear, water's broken...'

It now reads...

'Oh dear, water's broken...'
'It's a boy'
'Mazel Tov!'
'My wife is in labour'

I was just reading updates from a friend who was stuck on an airplane, then eventually took off. Except that in his status updates, he took off, then was stuck on an airplane. On the ground.

Words can't express how much I HATE the new facebook.

Or, as Facebook would order it: HATE I express much the facebook NEW!

I've heard - not tried myself to see mind you - that if you change it to UK English it changes how it is viewed?

Maybe experiment with other languages (which hopefully you know alright ) to see if you can find one that gives you the old layout?

I "liked" Facebook, just so I could rant on their wall about how much I hate their new layout. It's so.... ugh!!!!!!!! didn't they do a UAT??????? WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?
a lot of people didn't even migrate to G+ because they didn't like it. Now FB is trying to be G+.

irritating. That is all.

I hate the new facebook... and google + is just as bad...

seriously this sidebar is causing me headache. and it is disturbing to get all this information about everyone.

The ticker is annoying, and having nothing in chronological order is annoying, and the "top news" vs. "recent news" vs. "wtf is going on news" vs. "where the hell did my profile settings go" vs. "wht the hell is the subscribe feature?????????"

it's making my head spin.

This happens every time facebook make a change. Everyone just gets used to it again.

I quite like it to be honest

The person who writes a script to automatically migrate from FB to Google+ will have the newest killer app on his hands...

i agree, i also normally don't like changes. but no change has given me a real headache before! only twitter...

on a positive note... I will get used to the changes. And I can never forget what FB has done to reunite me with people I hadn't talked to or seen in over 20 years, and to keep me in touch with people as I have moved over here.

So I am grateful for FB, despite these annoying changes.

All the lists I created no longer work properly. Great.

News feed stopped working on my iPod app. Thanks a bunch MZ!

Just like when your supermarket in UK changes all the aisles to stop you from rushing through and 'force' you to come across new stuff and buy it (I try very hard to resist). When they do that I call the Manager and get him to walk me through with my shopping list, just to annoy them back - can I do that on FB?
