Re: Boycott Conny-Land.

This report just in from Reuters:

"Killer whale held by local authorities boarding train in Konstanz". Apparently an international mafia group of killer whales opposed to dolphins always stealing the limelight are seeking their revenge. Traces of tetrodotoxin poison prevalent in pufferfish were being carried by the Shamu disguised whale.

"This could be a new strain of Taliban-inspired killer seaborne mammals" said a German spokesman, Capt. Haddock.

Ostriches and Penguins are birds too you know
No they are not! Ostriches are just chickens on anabolic steroid while Penguins are midgets wearing butler uniform. Get you facts straight

Having been to the park....I have seen with my own eyes how the animals are treated, and not just the dolphins..... (as stated in my first post)

And I have to say, 'Connyland isn't doing anything wrong' - I 100% beg to differ.

If dolphins aren't destined to live long in the wild, it doesn't make it right for them to be kept in captivity and for the nature statistics to make these parks 'morally right', because they aren't, and never will be.

Animals shouldn't be performing for anyone. It's disgusting.

I also have my doubts about the findings, too..... I whole-heartedly believe that holding a 2 day disco in a park in which animals reside, is wrong, wrong, wrong. It's not just a dolphin park, they have lots of different animals living there. Yes, living there.

But of course, this is just my opinion. I won't change it. I can't change it. And on top of that, I stand by my original post....if you love animals, boycott Connyland. It's cruel.
We had a "techno" party in a quarry about 16kms from our village, behind a hill, and I (and neighbors) believed our immediate neighbors had died in the night and left their music playing - the sound was awful! Never mind the sound ..... the thumping carried thru the earth over those 16kms! And ours only lasted 24 hours!

A dolphin is encaged in water - they are unable to escape.

Sound is used to train them (slapping the water with a wide flat whip) - it hurts them.

I am SO glad that my refusing to attend circuses/zoos and suchlike places of imprisonement has affected my off-spring down to the grandchildren.
Not by preventing them from attending, but simply by me refusing to attend and stating my reasons of not wishing to contribute to their imprisonment.

Re: Boycott Conny-Land.

March of the Penguins is a great film

Have yet to see Happy Feet, but the other half is insisting it's brilliant and that I really need to see it

Simon - I've been on and off vegetarian for most of my life, vegetarian now, not quite vegan. The only meat I buy is for my pets to eat We've just adopted a very poorly kitten, and we're trying to nurse the little chap into good health, with a nutritional diet.

And to the person who made the joke about dolphin meat ending up in tins of tuna:

Hahaha, I was going to be a smart ar$ewith the penguin reference too

Speaking of which, did anyone see frozen planet last night? Penguins are so awesome. If I could have one as a pet, i would!.......and, that film, as far as kids cartoon films go, Happy Feet is brilliant!!

That's exactly what I was thinking...I'm going to watch both, and throw in Rio as well

Have just seen the trailers to all three on YouTube, they all look really funny and sweet
