Tired of Adissa sports' defective deliveries

I ordered a spinning bike for 300 chf (after 50% discount via groupon) from Adissa sports,
They delivered a broken bike - bad first impression ...but thinking this can happen ..I asked for replacement. They did replace it after a month.

They replaced it with another broken bike, same part is broken, guess there is some thing technically wrong with how they pack the bikes.I am tired of getting the deliveries from DHL for which I have to take an hour off from office everytime...it will be four times now ( two for the first delivery -delivery and pick up and two for the second one:-( )..

What should I do? any suggestions?

Re: Tired of Adissa sports' defective deliveries

Hi Trade Ticker! Could you let me know which part was broken? Me & my husband think we have the same problem, although with a bike bought on Ricardo from Adissa. The side of the bike is cracked and the pedal is loose (maybe from whatever caused the crack). Unfortunately the pedal thing was clear only after 2 hours spent on putting the bike together and trying it out as we could have lived with the crack only. We are contemplating now if we should ask for a replacement or our money back. This is the 3rd f***up of the company: First, the ricardo deal was that we should pick up the bike from their electro-bike showroom in Wiedikon. After taking time off work and renting a mobility car we find out on arrival that the bike is not there. We were asked to drive to their warehouse which I refused as I had to take the car back and I asked them to deliver. They promised to deliver the bike on monday. Of course, no bike, while my husband spent the whole day at home waiting for it. Finally today we found DHL just dropped the box in our appartment block entrance hallway, where everybody could have taken it, and after going through a lot of trouble trying to assemble it with a crappy instruction manual we find it is broken. I'm thinking to either ask for my money back, or ask to pick up an assembled bike that I could try out before taking it home...did you get a functional bike in the end?

Re: Tired of Adissa sports' defective deliveries

well on the third attempt they did deliver bike without breaking it.
I did the inspection on delivery infront of the guy(Adissa employee not DHL).
And the bike works fine so ..no further problem so far.

Re: Tired of Adissa sports' defective deliveries

Well, in the end we got a replacement, although the whole process took about a month (total lack of communication from the company). When we put the new one up we realized that the bike they tried to give us the first time was not only broken, but a much worse model, the worst being a mechanical system of resistance, not a magnetic one, although the ricardo auction photograph clearly shows the latter. Maybe you got one like that too? I suspect that they were not happy with the money they got out of the auction and tried to see if they could get away with delivering c**p. My advice is to stay away from this company. They sell other fitness equipment as well and also electronic bikes and scooters under the brand e-move.
