I just bought a ticket on an Asian A380. | | | | | I think there's an article (probably on wiki) which states that the airline who ordered the A380 with the most seats (in both business and economy, as it happened) was Lufthansa. I've recently flown with them but had an emergency exit seat on the way out and a bulkhead seat on the way back. Almost everyone else (i.e. most of the 420 economy passengers) looked cramped.

I still remember the times when Boeing 707 with 225 seats were used on those flights. The A380 will be operated on such operations with some 897 seats |

Select the seat behind the empty space ... I did, twice, no extra charge and definitely no legroom issues!
Just had trouble reaching the book I tucked in the seat in front of me when the seatbelts light was on ... "Go go Gadget Arms!"

Most people probably know it, but SeatGuru is always useful for checking out seats before reserving.

When an attractive lady sits next to me it's an advantage | Quote: | | | | | Would it kill bus companies, to order/put in larger seats into their vehicles, so that I don't have to sit on anybody's lap?! When I sit in a bus seat, my shoulder cover at least a third of the adjacent seat...which is alright if nobody sits there. However, it gets quite uncomfortable, when somebody sits next to me as I end up doing the awkward shoulder shurg or end up invading the other passenger's space. Does anybody else have similar issues? | | | | | |
