Neighbours who think they should be on X-Factor

To our downstairs neighbour who plays an electric piano and sings out of tune: you cannot sing for toffee. I hereby award you 3 x No. Now shut the feck up while I get my 4 yo to sleep.

Merry bloomin Christmas to you too!

Cheers,
Nick

Bet the kid falls asleep much quicker after tap-dancing together with daddy in mummy's stilettos.

Re: Neighbours who think they should be on X-Factor

We have the same problem here, our young Swiss neighbours were partying into the early hours last night/this morning and are at it again tonight. I have just tried to get my little girl to sleep and the noise coming up through the floors is unbelievable.

So much for the quiet, law abiding citizens here...

And the minute you drop a pin in your own apartment they'll have the Hauswart on you quicker than you can say "Auslšnder".

If everyone who bought expensive camera gear, thinking it would make them a better photographer, stopped doing it the photographic industry would collapse. That said, leave for the weekend with your stereo repeatedly playing Barry Manilow.

Re: Neighbours who think they should be on X-Factor

We've been lucky, then, the only problem we've had with loud music has been the cleaning staff in the restaurant on the ground floor of our building, and they stop playing their music CDs as soon as anyone knocks on the internal door to the restaurant ... I guess they don't always hear it over the vacuum cleaner but, strangely, we don't hear the vacuum at all.

I wasn't aware that any of the Three Investigators played piano, let alone the First Investigator ...

I had a next-door neighbour at university who had regular 3am sessions of that game where four of you sing, play the drums etc. in a full band version of Guitar Hero. Wonkers. Feel sorry for you!

Wouldn't it be better to play something the Swiss don't like?

Re: Neighbours who think they should be on X-Factor

To my neighbours who have been partying all night and who have just ignored me when I came down and rang your bell to ask you to please stop now, thanks a bunch! The fact you turned your music down immediately after I rang the bell tells me you are too chicken sh#t to answer even when making truly horrendous noise at 1.30am....

And as we speak and I type, I can hear you have turned it up again. This is just the way I love to spend my early Sunday mornings. And what dreadful taste in music you have btw....

Hope you called the cops - you gave them the chance to be reasonable and talk, which they declined.

Re: Neighbours who think they should be on X-Factor

And I thought the Swiss were so particular about noise after 10.30pm! Friends of mine in the Berner Oberland, Swiss, said her neighbours, also Swiss, started playing DRUMS the other day! And if not that, the kid is constantly up and down the wooden stairs...she's sure he has clogs on it is so noisy.

Kinda peaceful here on a hot Sunday in Perth.....

Makes me a bit more grateful for my neighbors. They talk loudly whenerever they're home, often arguing over whatever, but so far there hasn't been any music.

well, nothing beats living in a detached house in the country.

And now please excuse me, I need to go complain about the constant hum of our neighbor's milking pump. Can't he milk his cows the old-fashioned way on Sunday mornings?

And I thought I would have a hard time in Spain with the noise. But funny enough, I never hear any of them, including the little kid upstairs.

Noise isolation: super.

I could hear my neighbors in Basel on a regular basis, even in a new building.
