I still dont get how people are allowed to set fireworks on the crowed streets. It actually looked like a warzone at about 2 in the morning in Zurich! I know H&S is a little more relaxed here but im suprised there is not more accidents..

Don't, I like you too much, Dutch newspapers full of accidents and bad bad injuries yesterday. An 11 year old boy even got shot (with a gun) while lighting fireworks.....

It was great being here for NYE, some nice fireworks right after midnight (not before like in the Netherlands, they start around the 29th and you live in the smell and smoke for 4 days...) and fireworks done before 01.00 !
