Re: man - flu ?

Pffft... My man flu is ebbing now but superseded by woman flu. This dread contagion has been know to lay waste to cities, and would bring low King Kong. Symptoms (apart from the obvious) are the sprouting of odd tufts on the head where normally well coiffed hair sat, dust gathering on the make-up bag, all kitchen duties suspended, and the delusion that the male of the species is the root of all evil and to be at the beckon call of the stricken woman for the delivery of water, tea, soup, back copies of OK magazine, and all medicines... and of course it's all my fault!

Re: man - flu ?

So how are you going this spring? I think I got the quite nasty flu, unluckily, and I have to stay in CH for Easter. I was hoping I could stop it with vit C, a shot of vodka and going early to bed (what means waking up at midnight completely awake), but apparently I failed... Some of my friends had it before, they spent over 5 days with the fever in bed, I still hope I will turn out a bit more immune. Anyway, I'm afraid no family holidays this year (I have my tickets for tomorrow night and the fever seems to start to develop, and I definitely don't want to spread this virus around at home). Damn.

Wimps, the lot of yer! If you were man enough to take the vaccination in the Autumn this would not have happened! "It's just a little prick" as the art mistress said to the gardener...
