Cheating Driving instructor

I feel that I have been taken for a ride by my driving Instructor Piasko. I had taken close to 15 lessons from this guy and I was supposed to go for my test today but this guy had got it postponed without even informing me.

Is there any agency to which I can complain against this guy.

The instructor probably thinks, that the OP needs some more lessons and so that he/she could instruct OP some more.

It would have been nicer if the OP had instead responded, but he had logged off soon after posting.

Did you feel sufficiently competent and and confident enough that you believed you had a good chance of passing?

Or, that the test was to be done in the instructor's car, and he couldn't make the original appointment!

My daughter had her test in the instructor's car after 6 lessons, and passed the first time.

(ok, she had a lot of driving time with me)

Well you know how it is, sometimes and on rare occasions, I heard that some people do have a life outside of the EF.....just saying.

Re: Cheating Driving instructor

However, from what my wife has told me, driving instructors here can play the extension game somewhat, therefore gaining more money from a single student rather than having to accept new ones.

When she was learning she told me it was most common to have >20 hours of professional lessons before the instructor would book an exam, even though in many cases that was too much but the students / parents didn't feel they could do much about it. She managed on about 12 hours, though, because she had a nice instructor.

We shall hopefully hear more once the OP comes back to read all of our concerned queries, like why they logged off without informing us first...

Yes... It seems unreasonable that the OP has postponed this thread without informing us...

Where can I complain?

Re: Cheating Driving instructor

I'm new here, not sure if this is the right place to rant, but I'm a driving instructor and this student called Dalawais never showed for his lesson and subsequent test. I know he knew that he wasn't ready for it really, but I had bribed the examiner with CHF 200, so now I'm out of pocket as well as missing a student.

Went round to his place, but only his girlfriend was home. She was very accommodating . I do have a "Cheating Driving Instructor" moniker to live up to after all.

Re: Cheating Driving instructor

I took lessons with this guy, and I can confirm that he likes to make things last a bit longer than they should. I had my license for 10 years, and this dude made take 8 lessons before sending me to the exam, saying that on his opinion I was not ready.
On the exam day, the examiner took me only for a 20 min exam, as, in his own words, after 5 minutes it was clear I was an experienced and competent driver. and this dude kept saying I was not ready!!

Assassin: Your remark is utterly outrageous and is downright crass. I have already escalated this to the forum administrator and I hope necessary action will be taken against you.

Past experience would tend to indicate that such a move always has very predictable consequences, i.e. none. So I wouldn't hold my breath. But what action were you hoping for exactly????
