Re: Digitec online shop and false advertising

Yes Galaxus also messed up one of my orders and after sales was pretty miserable

Have to second the opinion that you were unlucky here - which can happen with any retailer. I've been buying IT equipment from Digitec (and cameras, tv's, etc.) for years with no issues at all.

However, I was disappointed with Galaxus - I made a test puchase (a new kettle) and as well as arriving late they just picked it off the shelf, slapped an address label on the box and shipped it with no packaging. Needless to say, the box was a bit bashed when it finally arrived (kettle survived ok, thankfully).

Oh, and the postie just left it on the road, under our postbox

Just glad no passersby fancied a new kettle..

Re: Digitec online shop and false advertising

Im annoyed with them right now because I ordered a LG TV that was supposed to be delivered end of may....then they said beginning of june....now its supposedly friggin Mid june.

Its cheapest place I found the TV on toppreise...which is why I suffer the wait...

Re: digitec.ch (selling with wrong product descriptions)

Bar some postposed delivery niggles, on the whole digitec and the Kundenservice desk is always really helpful in a showroom and have always dealt with my warranty claims fast...if you talk to them Im sure they'll refund you. 30fr good will gesture is pretty nice too...

Re: digitec.ch (selling with wrong product descriptions)

as the saying goes ...sheet happenz...

Not all shops can be perfect....nor people.
Overall, if digitec is so bad, she would not have grown year on year and became bigger and bigger.
So she must be doing something right.

My sympathies....it can happen with ANY shops.

Hi all, after being a happy camper with digitec.ch today i find myself here in the complaints corner.

Yep, had this twice recently myself.

1st was a car stereo head unit that clearly stated that it had a front mounted aux 3.5mm jack plug & didn't.

2nd was an 2.5" SSD for a mac pro that clearly said it came with the 3.5" cradle & didn't & they then gave me the wrong cradle for 10 francs extra even though I asked 2 of their staff if they were sure that it was the correct cradle for a Mac Pro tower, & they said categorically that it was.
I finally got he correct one but was charged 22 francs for it & didn't get so much as 'a sorry for the hassle' out of them.

Guess it's a victim of their own success type situation in some ways - standards slip a bit.

Re: Digitec online shop and false advertising

If you have a Digitec showroom in your area - 'pickup from the store' is your friend as you can pay with cash at the pick up.
I used to like Microspot, until I saw their attitude when it comes to warranty (Also, when registering, they ask for your residency/type of permit, which is another nasty thing on their side).

It'll be interesting to see the consequences of Migros acquiring 30% of Digitec/Galaxus today. https://mediaserver.digitec.ch/websi...20def_de01.pdf

Re: Digitec online shop and false advertising

Searched the AGB (Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen) from Digitec online.
Under point 7 (Lieferung) they state the procedures you have agreed to by buying the product. They previewed in their clause that they as vendors can change/postpone the date of delivery. The clause states also that these change of dates are not announced (to you).
Should they fail to deliver altogether (for whatever reason possible) the cancellation of contract is not only in the buyers right but automatic and takes effect in the form of reimboursement of paiements already made. (This takes effect after 4 weeks of being informed of the non-delivery).
Hope this helps to clarify the situation.
