I'd have to disagree, the company I work for is what most people in my field aspire to work for. Again having seen the people I work with it is dominated by foreigners. Deal with it in I.T. you need highly regarded skills to be employed by big companies.
Alright, you now become specific and precise. The requirement for IT specialists has rapidly risen in the past 20 years, and this exactly in a time when the active CH-citizens-workforce was and is declining. If an SVPler accuses you of stealing jobs from locals, please retort that quite to the contrary you SAVE jobs of locals, as your company otherwise would relocate to another country

But, on the other side, somebody who HAS a good job in the field will not automatically change, even if your company maybe top in its field

Yes of course I wonder as before arriving here I thought most of the jobs were finance based and in banking. Hence all the rhetoric you hear about Swiss banks and bank accounts.
Finance/Banking is just a branch of the economy, and not even the major one. Export Industry and Inbound Tourism and Transport are clearly more important. Now, imagine that most foreigners here have lived here for decades. They are active in the same fields as CH-citizens, and many of them are enroute to become CH-citizens themselves

Curious about the inbound tourism as CH is one very expensive country to visit compared with other European countries. With regards to those that become citizens should they really be tagged as foreigners as after all they have their lives here and are not just here for work.

A) Inbound Tourism is the money earner nr. 2 just behind the export industry. "expensive country" ? Most of Europe is expensive in this respect. Do not forget that people travelled to the USA in the 1960ies and 70ies when the USA were incredibly expensive. And people travelled to Germany in the late 1960ies and in the 1970ies, when Germany was very expensive.

B) Whomever becomes a CH-citizen is no longer a "foreigner" but a CH-citizen !

That's quite laughable, my employer is world reknowned for looking after it's employees, as I previously stated I was hired as no one else had the skills. The same happens all over the world that's why foreigners end up working in other countries.
This what the US Republican party should do

Not compared to Norway or Corsica (and some other places)!
