Re: "He's just not that into you"

I can live with honesty even if blunt, I just hate people that don't go straight to the point.
At least you can now say NEXT as someone else said before, happy hunting

While I know you're joking, after that was used as a justification for the attempted murder (totally without merit) I find it a little difficult.

Not to be a wet blanket on the humor, but I seriously had my report met with 'what did you do to deserve it?'.
I have to interfere here, some men are also pretty batshit crazy. I had an ex waiting outside my window with a knife (when I lived in the US I must say) because he wanted to know why I dumped him...

Is that an invitation?
Well, I've recently had my fair share of forum-met delusional nutcase, and I'm not ready to take such a risk again!

So even though there's a slight chance you're mentally sane, I'll pass my turn

Ya think?

Sometimes the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
In my book, accidents happen but I don't want to know about them. Emotional fidelity is the most important. I pefer OH drunkily shagging a one-off person than having him sharing a special bond with a woman best friend.

In his defense, maybe he was cooking a romantic dinner thus trying to woo you back?

No doubt. Screaming nutbars are everywhere... however, what bugs me is the implicit assumption that female on male domestic violence is the male's fault.

Again, not trying to get all somber-like, just have an issue with the 'if women are crazy it's the men's fault' line, for obvious reasons. I find it kind of on par with 'she was asking for it, dressing like that'

Believe me, I prefer someone tells me he isn't that into me than having a guy telling me my breasts aren't big enough for his taste....

True story.
You let him taste them on a first date??

Seems straightforward. Better than the "let's just be friends so that i can continue to torture you with the unrealistic hope of bedding me at some point in the future" that girls do.
Sure it's better, but if said in due time. Not after you waste X weeks/months and then you're told something like "hey, thank you, but I finally realized that not just that into you"...
