Hi, I should have read this first before posting mine. (Still your thread is welcome to mine)

I guess generally, 1) if you have kids 2) play the piano, DO NOT LIVE in FLATS!
Depend`s on how well they play the piano, there is a member on here and his daughter play`s fantastic, i have talked on the phone with him a few time`s and she is alway`s in the background, i keep him talking for ages just so i can listen to her playing, i wish they where my neighbour`s

Re: "Bad" neighbours

I must be feeling particularly Swiss today, but I can't take it any more. The kids who live (or visit?) behind me have driven me bonkers for the past few days. Today they've been screaming (not fun play screaming, but "I didn't get my way and I'm going to whine and cry until someone comes and looks") for hours. About five or six 8 - 9 year olds and a couple of 3 year oldsish ones being "watched" by the older kids. No adults in sight.

I'm on the third floor, and they drown out the TV. When I go to the front of my apartment - which faces a busy main road - I can hear them over the road noise.

Other people seem to have complained, as the swing has finally been oiled and isn't squeaking for hours on end, too, as is normally the summer habit here.

Any ideas on how I can find out who the management company is for this building so I can contact them? I don't want to go directly to the caretaker, as that seems to be rather ineffective - particularly since they're often out doing yardwork while the kids are screaming and crying, completely ignoring it.

Re: "Bad" neighbours

Aside from asking the neighbours or having a look at the rental contract and investigating from there, no other idea crosses my mind.

Re: "Bad" neighbours

I normally get cheesed off with the notion several have here of children being seen and not heard, but after seeing the bunch of little weasels up on the Gurten today and their parents actively aiding and abetting them in being little s**ts, I can sort-of sympathise.
One that stands out was a large queue of people were waiting to put their kids on the electric cars and a kid pulls up at the end of his go. Mrs Boris moves towards the car and the parent jumps in, hands waving, saying 'Nein, nein!' and hands over what must have been nearly twenty francs - enough for twenty goes on the thing. Another parent watched on as a another large queue formed at the top of the slide while his offspring wouldn't move from the bottom of the slide as he was rolling toy cars up it.

Re: "Bad" neighbours

Our neighbours have started to ignore us, ie refuse to be even curtious. I am a little lost as to why.

Look them in the eye and say 'Gruezi' so loudly next time that they can't miss it.

If they still ignore you, it's probably a good idea to check your breath...

They're in another building on another street, and I'm pretty sure they're not with our management company. I suppose I'll try to ask the caretaker here if she's got an idea who manages that building. I've tried searching online, but have had no luck and I didn't see anything at their building with the management company's name on it.
