Re: unhappy with ronald

When I was a teenager, the local McD's was offering 2 Big Macs for $2, so we rode our bicycles up there and somehow a Big Mac eating contest began. The kid that won ate 22 Big Macs...

erm ... ever talked to your family doctor ?

ah no need to worry, it only happens when my flat mate is around and i have dropped some rohypnol...

but on a serious note this is the pink slime....

note where she says " odds and ends" that translates to eyeballs and arseholes.....

the pink slime comment has resulted in a court case against jamie oliver...

Re: unhappy with ronald

I had my first swiss McChicken meal today.
The fries weren't salty enough and the chicken tasted real.

Extremely disappointed (wish I was joking ...)

You can ask for more salt. They have it at the counter in little packets.

And while you're at it, before giving way to the next customer, be sure to thoroughly scan your Big Mac and ask for a larger lettuce leaf and some more Mayonnaise. While doing so make sure that each of the five children you brought with you stay buzzy bumping into other customers and smearing icecream to their pants.

You know what guys. I'm dying to have an original American quarter pounder meal right now. I don't care if it's made out of pink goo or not. Just let me have it.

I hate McDonalds, always have. the only redeeming thing that I can think of is the McRib, found one of those in Germany on one of our road trips and enjoyed every last bite.

Not that i eat Mcdonalds or Bking..
But I'll wager you both partake the odd item from a Migros or Coop take away?

One of the ironies of modern fast food is that due to having had such an intense & permanent spotlight shone on them, McD's ingredients are now, more often that not, of much higher quality & better sourced than similar crap you get from other places. They also now happily provide info sheets at all restaurants.
Any idea where that Cevelat you had last week came from? Any idea of the calories or sat fats in one of those sweaty slices of quiche from Migros.

I'm not saying McD's is a healthy option on a regular basis, but if you must, then I'd say it's a safer bet than a lot of the take away stuff on offer these days.

I wonder why anyone would choose to eat at McD's in the US when there are much much better fast food options such as In-N-Out.

IMHO there are only two good reasons two eat am McD's in the US:
a) you cannot afford better food
b) you're in the middle of nowhere and there are no other options

The McRib.... In the US, there are websites dedicated to tracking the availability of McRib sandwiches (as it is not a nationwide promotion, but only locally promoted by various franchises) and people plan McRib-road-trips that would make one of LiB's KFC runs look like a visit to Grandma's house...
