Whats so depressing is that I can barely see the line markings on the highway due to the rain and spray, but if I put my sunglasses on the contrast is improved.
<sigh>

It was lovely and sunny all afternoon after some pretty heavy downpours in the morning and we didn't get any more rain until sometime during the night. We even had aperitif on the patio. |

Any damages in other parts of Switzerland? | | | | | Le Joran only causes damages when it is really hot by the Lake and also up in the mountains- but it then cools much quicker at the top- hence creating that devastating vacuum. The speed at which this happens is really frightening and you have to have experienced it to know. Much too cool at the moment for this to happen.

Yay! Some sunshine! Supposed to get up into the mid-20s next week. If it does I'll be back here complaining because it's too hot. | This user would like to thank Medea Fleecestealer for this useful post: | |

Everything should have been good, but also noticed that by Thursday evening even the best of our virtual CH team were truly having problems articulating on the Global calls.
And to cap it off at the end of this afternoon, the 'big boss' (London) finished his weekly run-down with "sorry for all the bad financial news and possible lay-offs, but here comes another sunny weekend - enjoy!"

Ps. After all these years I'm still very curious why ppl, even having my name written before their eyes, still manage to get it wrong |

Coming back after 7 relaxing days in Rome in gorgeous weather with average 26 degrees and no rain, I'm getting interested in Swiss weather again. Any chance it will get better? |
