It was quite coldish in Geneva today. With a bit of rain.

But this evening - humid and hottish. We are still waiting for a good thunder storm. Last year we waited three weeks!! Or more, We could hear it rumbling but nothing came.

It can't be far away. There were some storms affecting the Tour de France near Mt Blanc

Quite a lot of thunder and rain in Winti. Fortunately, the dog's fast asleep on the cellar floor.

What a pleasant summer this is!

Great the last couple of days. Windows and shutters flung open for a nice breeze, not too warm, lovely!

This kinda summer I was waiting for ...

No arthritis, no muscles, ligament and joints pains, stable blood pressure and good mood.

Wait a minute, it could be effect of magnesium tablets in-taken and not the weather itself.

I thought it was going to be 27 degrees today. No where near that - lovely, but not overly warm.

Today's weather was great here in Basel

It was very warm here- around 34 in the sun, no luxury of breeze, and my indoor temperature is nearly 28.
Flew back from Blighty yesterday where the weather was quite different: around 14-17 degrees the first week, then the warmest days so far, followed by pleasant 20-21 degrees.

Chucking it down with rain here. Was expected in the forecast, but a shame for those people hoping to go to various National Day celebrations tonight.

Lots of incredibly loud rumblings of thunder up in the Jura 'mountains' but nothing here. A quick downpour a few minutes ago but it's completely dried up again now.

Wonder where- absolutely none here- although a bit grey with intermittent sun.

Had to put my proper shoes on and dash out onto the balcony to unplug the drainage hole. Although I swept it clear yesterday, some bird seed husks and some plant material had blocked it again and the balcony was becoming a very large and increasingly deep bird bath. Water was managing to get through, but just not quick enough to keep up with the downpour.

No rumblings yet, just heavy rain now and again. Gloomy for the most part.

Swimming in the lake this morning and sunbathing while the poor buggers opposite in Vaud were getting drenched!


Still, we're all equal this afternoon.

That did happen here- along with thunder. Currently having a sunny spell. Can't complain as the temperature is finally tolerable!
