One of the things I am really glad about, since having handed in my notice as a janitor is, that I don't have to shovel the white mess away anymore.
Downside is, no one is doing it now, and thus yours truly today did a backflip that would even get Nadia Comaneci envious!!
Ouch!
But it is awesomne to walk in the forest at the moment, pure winter wonderland, hope it stays for a while.

| | Re: Weather! | Quote: | | | | Lol snowing hard here and grass definitely covered ...nearly 'lost' the dogs in the garden just now. Got to keep reminding myself that, no, it is not a hare crossing our snowy patio... but our new 3 legged cat. | | | | | We've got 4-5 inches here but it's beginning to melt. Our buggerlugs finally slept inside last night after sleeping out since Thursday and having us frantic with worry all weekend. I was tidying up yesterday and left his igloo on top of the dining table whilst I cleaned the floor. Low and behold, this location gives him the perfect vantage point to see out of the kitchen window and guard against us shutting him in the house again, so he's adopted it. Just one little possible problem...
Monday night, I thought I saw buggerlugs at the top of the garden and called to him, put the garden lamp on and it was the neighbourhood fox, which I used to see regularly at our previous apartment just down the road. This morning, there were fox paw prints across the bottom of the cat ladder. Would a fox come into a house for cat food?

it would have to be a pretty small fox to get through a cat flap though.

When it realised that I had seen it there, it just turned and strolled back out

Make sure anything outside is securely tied down or stored away as high winds expected over all of Switzerland tonight into tomorrow. Also could be some snow/sleet (forecast for us here in Misery).

I had to hit the road early this morning, so the weather Gods sent a storm (Föhn, I suspect) last night and the roads were clear for me, 4°C. I'm very pleased with the service.

BFM tv has put out big warnings too across France. Swiss weather forecast seems to me to get it wrong more often so if BFM says it's going to happen, I listen.

Was windy here overnight, but calmed down a little now. Tried to snow when we were getting up at 5.30am, but has stopped now.

All kinds of weather hereabouts today and between here and there.......from stormy gusts of wind to rain, to snowing lightly or heavily (pick your choice), torn up clouds and blue sky all at the same time! Is it April already?
