Oh shut up an go away! It's perfect!
It must have halved your journey time being assisted by the wind all the way from Lausanne.

I don't mind the snow to look at but I don't like these icy gale force winds blowing it about all over the place and making it feel much colder than it actually is.

Actually, from Yverdon it was against me. I felt like during the turbulence on the plane

Well hopefully it'll still be in that direction when you're going home.

They're blowing here too these winds, and blowing snow onto the motorway making them really hazardous.

Yesterday on our return we had to carefully drive over 3 larger areas of black ice. Today the ice was gone, ( thank you so much dear motorway cleaning/maintianing teams) the winds still almost blew you off the Autobahn in some places.

It still beggars belief (at least to me) how people can drive in this conditions as if it was a sunny, blue skyed and dry day......

It died out...No renewable energy for me this time... I have experienced similar conditions (as on the picture above) on the Yverdon-Neuchatel motorway on Monday. Right after my TCS Snow Driving Exercise

Re: Weather!

Having been dull and gloomy the last few days, we now have the fog back as well. Really makes me feel good, given that the boiler is playing up as well and has to keep being switched back on.

Yay! Sunshine today and the outdoor temperature didn't have a minus sign in front of it.

Not in my forecast range. No rain, no minus temps, not even any fog, lovely.

So do we and I can see the grass again for the first time in over two weeks. It's lovely.

Re: Weather!

That changed quickly. Had a pleasant moment outside earlier trimming my bush & now the wind has got up & the rain has started.
