Already have.

Ah! So THAT'S what the Swiss do on rainy Sundays...*

Well, I guess it beats rearranging your sock drawer.

* apart from seeing how many people can cram into one tiny airport grocery store.

And if you get stuck under or in fog- remember it is likely to be brilliant sunshine and much warmer up t'mountains (hurrah)

Funny you should say that as it was completely the opposite today.

Re: Weather!

Nope

I left in brilliant sunshine, then drove into thick fog, then under the fog- to Champ du Moulin- it then cleared up eventually to brilliant sunshine for lunch outside after the Conference. It was still warm and sunny up here when I got back at 5.00- and 20C.

Re: Weather!

Total opposite for us,

We left beautiful sunshine and drove up through brilliant sunshine as far as Le Locle where it was a total pea souper and remained so until lunchtime. It was pretty chilly too.
It was beautiful here when we left, still beautiful when we got back and 22 degrees and was still warm enough to have a drink on the patio at 6.30 PM.

Re: Weather!

Sooo ahhsomness weather in Kriens.Hiking up Pilatus with musician friends whilst pretending we're playing Disc Golf tomorrow.
Anyone going to the fun time at Frau Gerold's Garden in Zürich for little businesses that are flourishing in Switzerland at noon Saturday?

Re: Weather!

What a fantastic sunny day it was. Played 2.5 hours of tennis with lesson included in mild temp of 22 deg Celsius. The sky was blue without a single cloud and light breeze just like in South Africa. Then I went cycling for about 3 hours covering 45 km to boot. Nice lunch with family and friends outside. Did cross-border shopping by bike and most importantly got my Southern Comfort. I tell you, it never happened to me before to ride such long distance for booze

Now I'm looking forward to "episode II" of such an epic weather tomorrow again. Gotta make most of it before the season ends

Re: Weather!

Lovely warm and sunny in the mountains too- I just love the brightness of autumn sunshine- and we had about 15 kites soaring and mewing overhead- and lots of deer in the field at the back. Love it- the colours are changing fast and all turning golden around us- and teh garden is full of colour and autumn raspberries and blackberries.

I feel like being ripped off by Meteo Schweiz. Instead of getting full sunny weekend package I got only 50% of my order.

Yesterday.
