Where, in Basel or Gibraltar?
In Basel... here in Gib / Malaga there is absolutely NO RAIN during the summer... which is sad, this becomes a desert, literally...

I miss the thunderstorms that come out of nowhere during the summer

We got one here just now. Thunder, lightning, rain ... everything your heart desires.

It means I will have to clean these darn windows again this year

You clean windows! Never cleaned a window in my life and I've reached retirement age.

Re: Weather!

ahahah one has staff for this sort of thing, lol.

Lovely bright and sunny- but much colder than last week. It's forecast to get much warmer towards the end of the week- but hopefully some rain in between - to get those elusive morels to grow

You will soon after your move to Basel learn that the rainy season here is a constant
Well last nights rain has been kind - or clean - the sun today revealed no need for cleaning.

So the weather sucks today, and for the next few days. But the good thing is that I don't have to water the plants and flowers in the garden

Gorgeous up here in Neuch Jura- sunny and warm- but got a bit windy last 30 mins- still lovely. We really could do with some rain. Set to become hotter and hotter until the week-end.

Re: Weather!

Snow! Big, fat, hard pebbles of snow that stay being snow on the ground. Lots of them.
Normally after April 14th we're safe from this kind of stuff. Aaaargh!

We just had a snow shower too! The sun is out again now, but only a cool 11 degrees.

Re: Weather!

Bautiful and very bright- but windy and coooooold. Been out in the garden building a shed on East side of house- with big anorak and woolie hat. And yes a sunny snow flurry that lasted about 5 minutes. Aprilwetter

We did. I just realised last week that we still had winter tyres on the cars. We have an appointment to change them next Monday by which time hopefully the snow will be gone.

Lovely sunny day here and quite warm here but very breezy. A perfect drying day.

It has clouded over a bit now and there was a brief sleety shower.

Re: Weather!

Crazy weather- sunny and snowing at the same time ... and perishing cold.
My jacuzzi (cheapo blow up one, but it is great) is at the right temperature, 40C- but it is just too cold to go out and use it- drat.

Yep, this has turned into serious winter business here. After the morning rage I changed my mind (privilege of the Lady): It's actually qute pretty to watch, all cuddled up on the sofa, reading. All a matter of attitude Okay, might look different out an office window in the city ..... so who would have thought when I got up that I'd feel the lucky one today.
